In the garden, Halloween is thought of as a wonderful opportunity to have the community into the garden to celebrate the magic of the holiday before we put the garden to bed for the cold winter months. This year we continued in the proud tradition of many years prior with arts and crafts, games, and festive decorations. Neighborhood children wandered through the Garden with their families and enjoyed having their faces painted before decorating a goody-bag, adorning a mini-pumpkin to take home and collecting delicious treats donated by Whole Foods Market as they went along their way. This year we were happy to have teens from Millennium High School and the Global Potential Project join us in creating the festival.
