Remembering Joe Hubbard

Joe loved his Betty. And he loved their dogs. He loved the garden and he loved the flowers he so lovingly photographed. We remember Joe as the loyal, irascible, funny friend he was to so many of us.

Joe was my uncle and I tried reaching out to someone from the garden last year, but never heard back. I was just trying to see what happened to the family photos and things that were in his apartment so that I can keep them for the family if they are being housed somewhere. He was my mother Linda’s brother. She died last year and had dementia, so she never knew of his passing. My email address is lauracruz77@gmail.com if someone can reach out to me.

Hello Laura. My wife and I are members of the M’Finda Kalunga Garden and were friends of Joe and Elizabeth for years. We visited Joe often in his last months and days. We had no involvement after he died with their possessions left behind in the apartment. They had an old friend for many years who had power of attorney and handled his estate. I never actually met her but can probably find her email somewhere. I’ll forward it to you when I find it.

If anyone is checking this I am still trying to find the person who handled my uncle’s estate. My name is Laura Cruz and my Joe was my mom Linda’s brother. He had a bunch of family photos and artwork of my dad’s that would mean so much to keep in our family. My mom passed away and we are trying to recover the artwork of my dad’s that was with uncle Joe (also known as Alan) Hubbard. My email is lauracruz77@gmail.com if someone can reach out to me please.
